Senior Integration Architect London | Hybrid Arthur is supporting a global insurance organisation in the appointment of a Senior Integration Architect to join a growing architecture function at an exciting stage of technology transformation. This opportunity will suit an experienced architect who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, influencing technology strategy and working across a broad range of business and technology stakeholders. You'll play a key role in designing the future integration landscape, ensuring systems and partners can communicate securely, efficiently and at scale across underwriting, claims, finance and operational functions. The Role As Senior Integration Architect, you will: Define and evolve enterprise integration strategy and architecture. Design secure and scalable integrations across a diverse technology ecosystem. Establish integration frameworks, governance standards and architectural patterns. Provide technical leadership across programmes and business-critical initiatives. Partner with senior stakeholders across technology, data, security and the wider business. Support connectivity with external partners, service providers and market platforms. Drive improvements in resilience, operational efficiency and system interoperability. Identify opportunities to modernise legacy integrations and reduce technical debt. What We're Looking For We're interested in speaking with experienced architects who can demonstrate: A strong background in Integration Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture. Experience delivering enterprise-scale integrations across complex environments. Expertise in API, messaging, event-driven and hybrid integration models. Strong understanding of cloud-based integration technologies. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on solution design. Technology Exposure Experience across a combination of the following would be beneficial: Azure Integration Services MuleSoft Boomi IBM MQ Kafka REST / SOAP XML / JSON Managed File Transfer solutions Highly Desirable London Market or broader insurance sector experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Delegated Authority function in a role centred around data, reporting and analysis. You will take responsibility for reviewing bordereaux information while helping ensure data received from external partners is accurate and ready for use across the business. The position offers exposure to Underwriting, Finance and Claims while giving you the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge within the Lloyd’s market. It would suit someone with bordereaux experience or a data focused insurance background who wants greater responsibility and broader exposure. Key responsibilities: • Reviewing risk, premium and claims bordereaux • Validating incoming data and identifying missing or inaccurate information • Investigating data quality issues and working with external partners to resolve them • Mapping and processing bordereaux through internal systems • Monitoring submission deadlines and outstanding information • Producing regular MI on bordereaux performance and data quality • Supporting Underwriters with accurate data for portfolio analysis • Working closely with Coverholders, MGAs, brokers and third party providers • Identifying recurring data issues and suggesting improvements to processes • Supporting improvements to bordereaux systems and reporting tools Experience you’ll need: • Previous bordereaux, delegated authority or insurance data experience • Strong Excel skills • Good analytical ability with excellent attention to detail • Confidence working with large sets of data • An understanding of the Lloyd’s market would be beneficial • Experience with bordereaux platforms or Lloyd’s systems would be advantageous This role offers the chance to develop beyond pure bordereaux processing and gain wider exposure to data quality, reporting and delegated authority oversight.
