We're partnering with a leading UK General Insurer that's investing heavily in growth, innovation and transformation. As part of that journey, they're looking to appoint an experienced Compliance Business Partner who enjoys working alongside the business to solve complex regulatory challenges, influence strategic decisions and help bring new ideas to life.

This isn't a traditional monitoring or assurance role.

You'll become a trusted adviser to Product, Pricing and Commercial leadership, ensuring regulatory requirements are met while enabling the business to innovate confidently.

What you'll be doing
  • Partner with Product, Pricing and Commercial teams on strategic initiatives.
  • Provide practical, commercially focused regulatory advice.
  • Support product governance and Consumer Duty across key business areas.
  • Influence senior stakeholders on regulatory risk and customer outcomes.
  • Play a key role in business transformation and change programmes.
  • Shape governance around emerging areas, including AI and new propositions.
  • Challenge constructively, balancing regulatory expectations with commercial objectives.
  • Represent Compliance at senior governance forums and strategic decision-making meetings.
What we're looking for? We're looking for someone who combines strong regulatory expertise with excellent commercial judgement.

You'll likely have:
  • Significant Compliance or Conduct Risk experience within UK Financial Services.
  • General Insurance experience (highly desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty and Conduct Risk.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Pricing or Commercial functions.
  • The confidence to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
  • A pragmatic approach that focuses on finding solutions rather than creating barriers.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Delegated Authority function in a role centred around data, reporting and analysis. You will take responsibility for reviewing bordereaux information while helping ensure data received from external partners is accurate and ready for use across the business. The position offers exposure to Underwriting, Finance and Claims while giving you the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge within the Lloyd’s market. It would suit someone with bordereaux experience or a data focused insurance background who wants greater responsibility and broader exposure. Key responsibilities: • Reviewing risk, premium and claims bordereaux • Validating incoming data and identifying missing or inaccurate information • Investigating data quality issues and working with external partners to resolve them • Mapping and processing bordereaux through internal systems • Monitoring submission deadlines and outstanding information • Producing regular MI on bordereaux performance and data quality • Supporting Underwriters with accurate data for portfolio analysis • Working closely with Coverholders, MGAs, brokers and third party providers • Identifying recurring data issues and suggesting improvements to processes • Supporting improvements to bordereaux systems and reporting tools Experience you’ll need: • Previous bordereaux, delegated authority or insurance data experience • Strong Excel skills • Good analytical ability with excellent attention to detail • Confidence working with large sets of data • An understanding of the Lloyd’s market would be beneficial • Experience with bordereaux platforms or Lloyd’s systems would be advantageous This role offers the chance to develop beyond pure bordereaux processing and gain wider exposure to data quality, reporting and delegated authority oversight. The role would suit a recent graduate from a Finance, Economics or similar numerical degree. It could also suit someone already working within insurance who is looking to move into Delegated Authority for the first time. You will receive hands on training while gaining exposure to Underwriting, Operations and Compliance. There is a clear opportunity to build technical insurance knowledge while developing strong analytical skills within an area of the market that continues to grow.
