This is a senior revenue-generating and strategic leadership role with global reach. The successful candidate will drive origination, client retention, and portfolio growth across complex, multinational PI programmes while shaping the strategic direction of the practice. Key Responsibilities
Originate and develop new business opportunities within law firms and financial institutions (asset managers, private equity, hedge funds, fintech, advisory firms).
Lead placement and structuring of complex, multi-jurisdictional Professional Indemnity programmes.
Develop C-suite and Partner-level relationships with clients globally.
Deliver strategic advisory services on coverage design, programme optimisation, claims trends, and market developments.
Drive revenue growth and profitability of the PI portfolio.
Mentor and lead senior brokers and account executives within the practice.
Collaborate with global offices to coordinate cross-border placements.
Represent the firm at industry conferences and thought-leadership forums.
Candidate Profile
12 years’ experience in Professional Indemnity insurance broking.
Demonstrable track record of originating and closing significant PI mandates.
Strong relationships within law firms and/or financial services institutions.
Deep understanding of global PI markets, including London and international carriers.
Proven ability to manage complex placements and negotiate at senior insurer level.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen.
Established leadership experience within a broker environment.
ACII qualification preferred.
